Growing up just too darn fast

Sophie came home from school and BEGGED to have her nails painted. WHAT?? I thought that I at least had a couple more years before she cared about that stuff. I thought if I changed the subject then in a while she would forget about it. NOPE! MAMA PLEASE!!! So I broke down and painted her fingers and toes. I had one happy little girl.

She pranced around showing anyone and everything. this picture she is showing Matilda. SILLY GIRL

( I did have to tell Dylan about a million times that painting our fingers and toes was just for girls...he didn't agree... but luckily he has a short attention span and forgot about it in 10min)

boo boo's

Its no longer jean season. We can now wear shorts which is great, except that when we fall there is no protection. These poor boo boo's happened yesterday. They insisted that I take a picture to show nana and grandad.

Hopefully we can be more careful, or its going to be a long boo boo season!

Elmo's Street

Sesame Street came to Oklahoma!!! Kids love this show and especially love cookie monster and Elmo.ELMO AHHHH!! they love Elmo, I hear daily...turn on ELMO STREET...PLEASE!!!!! I cannot convince them that the show is actually called Sesame Street hence the title of this blog. So when I found out that sesame street live was coming we had to go..didn't know how things would turn out since I would be taking them on my own, but things went great!! despite having to buy 3 tickets and only using one seat (both HAD to sit on my lap) We had so much fun. Only had two small crying fits. When Elmo 1st left the stage...Sophie cried wanting Elmo to come back. Dylans breakdown was at intermission..." I WANT ELMO STREET...give them a hug" The explanation of what a show was didn't quite connect with them, but they were amazed and thrilled and had a great time.

And of course I spent an arm and a leg on these stupid light twirlers but it was worth it to see the kiddos SMILE!!

its SPRING

So excited that the weather is getting warmer!! Today we all enjoyed getting outside. Even Baby Katie loved it.
