Watch our Wales here we come!

So the last few days of course have been very hectic. These are just some of this things we have done

House~
Our old house went thru an inspection (for buyers), we passed. So now the buyers are actually coming to see the house today, so Darren and I have been frantically trying to clean and tidy up things even more than usual. Our 5 day option period ends Tuesday, so unless they get to the house and absolutely hate it we are as good as gold.

Poor Sophie~
So Dylan was sick a week ago and now it seems like Sophie has gotten the same bug. She started feeling bad Friday and by Saturday she was feeling horrible. I was so worried about going on the trip, but luckily Sophie has gotten better. Still has some sniffles but should be 100% by the time we leave.

Wedding~
Saturday evening we asked nanny to come babysit so we could attend a good friends wedding. We tucked the kids into bed early gave Sophie her medicine and we were off to Jim and Lisa's wedding. It was so beautiful, the ceremony was at a lovely catholic church. We had so much fun at the reception we didn't want to leave! CONGRATS LISA AND JIM!!

Trip packing-
were are officially packed and ready to go. Only 2 bags and some carryons that's not bad for 4 people for 2 weeks. (I should give GREAT thanks to my mother in law for providing tons of things so we didn't have to pack them).
I had a minor meltdown yesterday, but I'm OK now. I called the airline just to confirm certain things (custom approval for baby food, seating arraignments, etc) When we booked these flights in February we MADE sure that we purchased 3 seats with 1 lap child, and seats in the bulkhead area where there would be a bassinet. So one baby will sleep in the car seat and the other in the bassinet. Well apparently things have changed. I guess when we booked the ticket we were on a certain aircraft and now they have changed the aircraft so our seating assignment has changed. We still have 3 seats and we even have the bulk head, but NO bassinet. The so called "customer service" agent lets just call her EVIL TRACY, she was so rude about it..don't want to go into details but it ended in her hanging up on me and I was in tears. I called back and actually got a nice customer agent, lets call her SWEET MARCI, she apologized profusely for the way her coworker treated me, and apologized for the seating arrangement. THANKS SO MUCH MARCI. Unfortunately we cannot change the assignment now, but at least I know this now and not at the gate. Darren says I should throw a throbber at the gate and maybe we will get upgraded...yeah right two 9month olds in business class I THINK NOT! So long story short we purchased a travel cot, and we are hoping the flight attendants will let us use this....oh well I'm sure this isn't going to be the 1st bump in the road this trip!

Doggies~
Darren is currently taking to dogs to their resort...that's right a doggie resort. They can run in huge fields, play with other dogs, swim in a pools and be completely spoiled by the staff. I will miss my tilda and tator kisses, but I know they will have so much fun.

We are VERY excited about actually getting to wales, we cant wait to see the family!! I will try to blog while where are there.

PLEASE HAVE THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS FOR US AS WE TRAVEL!!

love you all!!

ITS BYE BYE HOUSE

Ok so I was a little hesitant to write something about the house since nothing was official, but its true WE HAVE SOLD OUR HOUSE!!! It is truly amazing since we put the house up for sale on Monday at about 8:00am and by 8:45pm we had an offer, not just any offer, a cash offer. 13HRS on the market that's all!! We did have some negotiating to do, but as of today the contract is officially signed and we will be leaving the house August 10th. This date was one of the many compromises we made since we don't know when our new house will be finished. The owner starts medical school Aug 1st and our house wont be done until the end of august so she will be in a hotel for the 1st part of august and we will probably be in a hotel for the last two weeks. (ahhh)
I'm excited, but its bitter sweet. Darren and I lived here before we were married, this is the only home the dogs have ever known, and of course this is the home where we brought home our precious sophie and dylan. So many memories...I just hope the new owner enjoys it as much as we did.
As darren reminds me the new house will have a pool!!!!

Funny note, as I was writing this the real estate agent called, someone wants to come see the house :)

Put your jeans on

Dont know if you have seen the commercials for the diapers that look like jeans. I saw them in the store and of course had to have them for the twins. It is too funny!

Auntie Laci came over and we had lots of fun playing with her, here are some of the many cute faces of my #1hunk!

He has discovered how to take off his hats, but for some reason he liked keeping this one on.
