LORDY LORDY LOOK WHOS TWO!

I cant believe I have two year olds!!! I am so proud to be their mama!! For their second birthday I thought that I would kind of have a low key celebration...boy was I wrong. This 2nd birthday celebration lasted 4 DAYS!!!! What spoiled kids.

Thursday the kids were at school and got a special treat and some special stickers because it was there birthday.

Friday was their actual birthday . Nanny Emily came over during the day and we had the best time with her and celebrated at chucky cheese....we played tonz of games and had so much fun...and we loved all the awesome gifts nanny Emily brought us...(she spoils Dylan and Sophie rotten!!!)
and since daddy was at work all day and we were waiting on Mamaw and PaPaw to come in from Dallas we decided to start the celebration a little bit later in the evening with family

later that evening.... they got their big present from nana and grandad....BIKES!!!
They were so excited....so excited that they didn't even wanna look at any other presents...so I guess we will save them for tomorrow

Some cuties!!!

Nana look at me!!!

Dylan driving very seriously..... watching out for cars.

yea...mamaw and papaw are here to push us around!!!

They had so much fun with their bikes....thanks NANA and GRANDAD for the great gifts!!!

Saturday---we picked up their cakes
Dylan of course had to have a CHOO CHOO one.

and Sophie wanted a strawberry shortcake one.

No birthday would be complete without balloons

Kids were super excited to see all of their cool presents!!

in awe!

yea...were TWO!!!!

Alright let the opening begin...lets get down to business

So excited to feed her new baby....which she named....DYLAN???

a CHOO CHOO!!!!

Sophie pushing her baby in her new stroller

PaPaw showing Sophie how to fix Strawberry shortcakes hair.

Dylan just couldn't resist...he had to push his CHOO CHOO around in the stroller too.

After all the presents were finished...we ate a quick lunch and had a quick nap...because we were off to have more birthday fun at the Oklahoma State Fair.

Mamaw fixed Sophie's hair very nice....now why wont she sit still for me to do this???

Look at me I'm 2!!!!

off to the fair we went and got to meet some interesting characters.
Sophie loved all of the animals

She wanted to give all of the hugs and kisses. Poor mamaw was trying her best to hold her back

more Fair fun!

No fair is complete without JUNK FOOD!!! kids 1st experience with a corn dog.

Sophie not so impressed..

Of course you have to pet some horses!! Sophie wanted one for her birthday...Darren said no...but suggested that she ask her nana and grandad for one next year

We had a great day with mamaw and papaw...so glad they got to celebrate with us

SUNDAY--
Since we got back from the fair pretty late we decided to wait until we had our birthday cake. So DAY 4 of birthday celebrations...and it finally ended with CAKE!
I think there we more spit on the cake than actually icing.

Dylan trying really hard to blow out his candle

Sophie about out of breath!

He finally did it!! YEA!

Now its time to EAT!

Of course he couldn't wait for a fork

Yummy!

The cake even came with more gifts on top...another CHOO CHOO for Dylan

and another strawberry shortcake for Sophie

Four days of celebrating 2.....
I'M EXHAUSTED!!!

I'm so blessed to have the cutest TWO year olds in the whole world!!!
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABIES ....I mean BIG GIRL AND BIG BOY.

1st day of class!!

The 1st day of class is here....I am a NERVOUS wreck. I hope the kids will be OK. I couldn't sleep a wink last night. I kept thinking about all the things that could go wrong...what if Dylan gets hurt and starts to cry, will his teacher know how to cuddle him and know that he wants buddy and a band aid on his knee? Will Sophie be able to take a nap without me giving her cuddles and kisses? I hope there isn't any bullies! I hope there aren't any sick kids there? what if some kid hits them or bites them??
I'm literally driving myself crazy. Thank god for Darren....he is taking off of work this morning so he can "help" me with the kids and get them off to school.

Dylan and Sophie outside of school by the playground with their new backpacks

Dylan---had enough of me and was ready to head to school

Princess Sophie needed me to carry her bag in for her...DIVA

Welcome to school!

Sophie not so sure about whats going on

As more kids are coming in, Dylan and Sophie are getting a little anxious. What this picture doesn't show is that I was so near tears myself!

Double checking to make sure they have everything they need

Surprisingly enough...both kids SURVIVED their 1st day, and I actually SURVIVED too (thanks to Darren). There were some tears, but the kids were SUPER excited to see me when I went to pick them up. When I asked if they had fun they both screamed YEA!!! when I asked them if they wanted to come back they both screamed NO!! well I guess we will have to work on that last answer!!!
