Things kind of got off to a rough start. Kids definitely don't like being in the car especially for 3hr drive to Dallas. Not to mention I was driving them by myself since Darren wanted to go car shopping which meant he would trade his car in.
It started raining which really upset Sophie.
But over Sophie screaming about the rain and listening to Yo Gabba Gabba for the 100th time we finally made it to Dallas!
MaMaw and PaPaw spent the weekend spoiling the kids while Darren and I went shopping and enjoying some baby free time together. (cannot thank you enough mom and dad!)
We stayed at the Adolphus hotel downtown it was amazing.

Its so amazing that even the Queen herself has stayed there.
For our anniversary dinner we decided on The Capital Grill....super fancy!
We had a little too much fun...2 bottles of this is what did my head in the next day.

We ended the weekend with a trip to see bethanie and baby Zuri.

I miss spending time with bethanie. It was so great to see her. She is an amazing mom and even more amazing friend.
Darren's anniversary gift----
and Darren traded his Lexus for this--- He is totally in love with this. If you are looking for him, I think he is in the garage wiping it with a diaper. (ha ha)
Had an amazing weekend!! ahh I'm tired- now back to the grind
