just plain CRAZY

Am I crazy or is Christmas keep getting closer and closer?? Two days after Halloween a neighbor was putting up Christmas lights up. Crazy....right? Well I started to try to make sense of it, I guess its not really safe to put Christmas lights up when it is snowing so I guess its OK to start working in October. And maybe the company that is hanging lights have really great prices so they probably get booked up so they need to start early right??...OK I might believe that.
So I actually went over to one of the guys hanging the lights to see if he could give us a quote on hanging just plain simple white lights on our roof line. What happened next is just plain INSANE!! He proceeded to tell me our quote ---- 2200$$ What the FUDGE!!! Are you just crazy Christmas light man?? I guess this year we will have to go with just plain lights from walmart--you know the ones that cost 9.99! INSANE!

So enough ranting for now...

We opened the mailbox and got more GIFTS!!!
Auntie Carrie is an AMAZING cook---i mean CHEF. (she will graduate culinary school soon)



She knew exactly what we needed, Homemade hot chocolate, homemade marshmallows, and homemade sweets (cookies, choc covered pretzels). They were AMAZING~

I am sending the box back so she can send more. ha ha ha!



Then the next day we received a package from nana and grandad. Yummy british candy -Quality street and booty cream. I know this sounds weird but this stuff called Sudocrem is the BEST stuff going. It literally cures diaper rash over night!
