meet our rug
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEREMY!!! Wishing you have a great time in San Fransisco. Lots of love to my equally favorite little brother.

So I'm still trying to organize things around the house, a chore that I think will never get done. We haven't done any furniture buying, but we did find this amazing rug to go in Darren's new office. So as of now...we have a rug. HA HA! Mom and Dad should be coming this weekend so I look forward to doing some shopping with out the crazy little ones around :)

I went to a job fair this past week and actually got two job offers, one for occasional part time (1 shift every month), or part time (2 shifts a week). Unfortunately cant really take either one until we get the whole nanny thing figured out. Which I am hoping is VERY VERY soon!
Meanwhile the kids are still having fun outside while the weather is nice.
Matilda and her new friends "Gus and Butch"

yes that is a golf ball in Sophie's hand. She is our new golf ball finder :)
These Oklahoma folks must not be very good at golf :)

WE ARE WALKING
Sophie's video is of her 1st steps about 1month ago. Dylan started walking about 2 weeks ago. They are growing up SO fast!
Loving the outside
oh what a life Matilda has
She just loves her new backyard

Tator loves it too :)

So far we have found these in our backyard. Luckily one didn't hit the window. I guess that's what you get for living off a golf course :)

Sophie and Dylan are loving the backyard too.
Sophie wasn't so sure about the grass at first

Her hair is getting so long, and she keeps taking her bow out. Poor kid probably cant see where she is going

Dylan loves kicking the ball around with his daddy

So far the weather is perfect here...this Oklahoma thing isn't so bad after all!
PS--A HUGE thanks to JESSICA CRIST--I know you read this. Thanks for all of the advice!! We need to meet up soon!

Earthquakes??
So apparently I was either too busy with the dogs, the kids, the laundry, unpacking or god knows what else to notice we had a earthquake on Wednesday.

THIS IS FROM THE LOCAL PAPER
OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Geological Survey says two small aftershocks have been reported and more are possible following an earthquake that rattled parts of the state.
Survey officials also reported Thursday that they had lowered their magnitude estimate of the earthquake from 5.1 to 4.7 after additional analysis was done. The U.S. Geological Survey estimated the magnitude of Wednesday's quake to be 4.3.
Officials say the earthquake is considered to be small to moderate in size.
The quake struck at 9:06 a.m. and was centered about eight miles southeast of Norman. Officials say the tremor was felt in much of the state and as far away as Wichita, Kan., and Dallas.
REALLY???
so not only do I have to worry about tornado's I have to worry about earthquakes too??

I have finally started downloading my camera and came across these pictures...I forgot how far behind in blogging I was. So this post is a hodge podge of things that happened this last month or so.
DOUBLE TROUBLE

Sophie and her many silly faces, she is such a character

Dylan having a bad hair day

The kids favorite breakfast---

Rachel came over with baby lachlan during our last week in Houston. The kids loved him. He is so cute!

On nanny Josiephines last day we took her out for lunch.
Sophie loves sharing her food

Dylan not so big on sharing his food....maybe that's why he is so chunky!

My last day at St lukes hospital. I'm really gonna miss this place. Sorry this picture is fuzzy, it was taken with my phn after I had worked a long hard 12hrs. I wont miss the 12hr shift part :)

On our way to Oklahoma

Kids in their new car seats

a silly Sophie face :)

Poor Sophie and her rash..this was just the beginning it got so bad. She is all better now and even crazier than ever.

Dylan is the MESSIEST eater ever. Darren snapped this photo at lunch. and yes that is a big piece of ham on his head. I swear this boy needs a bath every time he eats. boys will be boys I guess

so this is what I have been doing this week...
This is our dining room filled with empty boxes the movers will come back and pick up. Sad part I have about 1million more boxes to go.

Gonna give unpacking a rest this weekend, time for some furniture shopping. :)
