Sweet baby Katie

Thank goodness for brothers, especially the ones that are super photographers. When Katie was about 1week old I had a photographer come over to take some pictures to send out to everyone. I think they turned out well, but since he wont return my phone calls or emails I'm guessing we will never get to see them. WHAT A FLAKE!!
Anyway... again thanks to JEREMY for all of the awesome photos he took of Katie. Here are just some of the ones he took.

Merry Christmas

Is it already Christmas?? wow this year has gone by fast. I'm so blessed to be surrounded by my family for Christmas. The whole gang is here and luckily for me we have a cook (auntie carrie) for Christmas dinner, a photographer (uncle jeremy), a baby katie caretaker (mamaw), a dylan and sophie caretaker (papaw) and crazy makers (uncle jonathan and ian) and of course the mess maker (darren). Since all of the jobs are taken up...I got the best Christmas present ever SLEEP!!

We had an amazing Christmas. Again thanks to the family for doing EVERYTHING. If it is this easy hosting Christmas I might do it again next year :)

BIG helpers

Baby Katie is growing like a weed! What a cutie.

Dylan and Sophie love Katie so much.

Dylan loves to show Katie all of his toys and Sophie loves to help mommy with the diaper changes, burping anything that Katie needs.

She is helping Katie with her pacifier...sometimes Sophie likes to HELP a little too much.

bad ears/ bath time

Really at 1week we are already sick have 2 ear infections?? I blame the little germinators otherwise known as Dylan and Sophie. We have started on antibiotics and hopefully this clears up soon. Katie is JUST PERFECT. God must of known the time I had with the twins and so he sent me BEST most PERFECT little baby.

TANTRUMs

So I don't really want to focus on the negative but I'm gonna RANT!!

Holy cow...WHOSE IDEA WAS IT TO HAVE 2 two yr olds and A newborn.~~
I'M EXHAUSTED...and its not just the sleep deprivation. Sophie and Dylan are having a hard time adjusting. They absolutely love Katie and are so so sweet to her, but I cant leave their side without them thinking I'm leaving. CANT A GIRL GO TO THE BATHROOM IN PEACE!!!~
Sophie has been in timeout maybe twice in her life...but today I think we have now gotten to world record amounts...

Dylan had a complete meltdown about wanting to wear his Thomas the train hat to breakfast.

Sophie was upset this morning because she wanted a princess yogurt. WHAT?? I don't even know what that means...I'm so frustrated and so is she. she screamed NO PICTURES...I guess the princess has spoken.

I hope this phase ends quickly...

Going Home

What a long 4days. Katie has been absolutely PERFECT. She sleeps like an angel and she hardly ever cries. Its me that has been a wreck. Pain from surgery has been rough. Luckily every night I have had someone stay with me so that helps take my mind off things. I had to stay an extra day in the hospital because of a high temp and after multiple different tests including blood cultures, flu cultures...etc. they finally figured out that it was a bladder infection...GREAT! luckily this doesn't effect baby Katie. I started taking my Iv and pill antibiotics and of course had an allergic reaction rash from head to toe. So finally TODAY I GET TO GO HOME!!
